Harry has been a licensed California Realtor, continuously, since 1981. He has worked for both large and small independent real estate companies as well as large national franchises.

Harry discovered the REO world in 1982 with California Federal Savings and Loan, which lead to several other REO accounts.

In 1991 Harry was accepted as a Designated Area Broker for Freddie Mac/ Homesteps.  From 1991 to 1999 Harry sold over 1,000 REO listings for Freddie Mac, Countrywide, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMChase, California Federal Savings, Glendale Federal Savings, American Savings, Great Western Savings, Imco Realty Services/Dime Bank, and Investors Mortgage Insurance.

In 1996 Harry wrote and presented an article titled “How to Successfully represent a Buyer on an REO purchase,” (article available upon request) at the 1996 NAR Conference in San Francisco, CA and at several conferences held by the Orange County Association of Realtors that same year as well as in 2007.

At the beginning of 1999, Harry “retired”, from real estate, to start up a solar electric business with 2 partners. That business was sold to the remaining partners in 2004 and he opened NOVA Real Estate Services, Inc. now with 3 offices; main office in South Orange County, CA and branch offices in Oceanside, CA and Palm Desert, CA.

The primary focus of NOVA Real Estate is REO and Short Sales. All active NOVA agents are either 5 Star Certified REO or Short Sale Certified.   Our listings over the previous 12 months have remained on the market for an average of one month, and our average time to close is just over thirty days.  NOVA has a fallout rate of less than two percent.  The average sales price of our listings is $550,000.00, with several million dollar listings as well. As the market appreciates we expect to see many more million dollar plus listings.

Since the inception of NOVA Real Estate Services, we have performed over 1,200 BPO’s both drive by and interior for preā€foreclosure and short sale transactions.  Our turnaround time frame for BPO’s is 24-72 hours, depending on the type of BPO (interior or drive by) and the details requested in the BPO.

NOVA Real Estate maintains a full time accounting and support staff. All offers, BPO’s and billing are processed through our main office in Laguna Hills CA. This allows us to maximize our agents’ time in the field and to effectively market and maintain the listings. This further allows us to more efficiently handle paperwork without duplicity of effort, while still maintaining a “local” presence with local agents.
